Neurotoxins: The Real Zombies of Haiti

We’re sure you’ve probably heard about the zombies in Haiti, people who have been induced into a state of lifelessness, where they are only capable of taking orders. But do you know the science behind it? It turns out that neurotoxins are to blame.

Neurotoxins are basically a fungi that slows bodily functions to the point that you’re basically considered dead. You lose the ability to use 99% of your brain; therefore, you can to be commanded to do stuff. In Haiti, this is one of the most severe punishments someone can receive.

Let’s say there’s a little trouble maker in the village who’s always getting into trouble. One day the straw broke the camel’s back, and everyone decides to induce him into this state. They fix an ancient, secret remedy and administer it. At that point, the kid turns into a zombie, and he is commanded to work out in the fields for the rest of his life. If you go to Haiti, there are dozens of zombies like this working the fields. It’s actually commonplace!

Of course, that’s not the only instance. There is also a poison from a Japanese blowfish that can do the same; however, the chances of surviving such an attack are so small it’s an occurrence. And the people that do usually can’t take care of themselves enough, resulting in starvation.

If there was truly a zombie threat present, this would be one of the more worrisome ones, as actual human beings are in states of what is essentially being a zombie; though, they don’t spread the virus like usual.

Real Zombie Attack in Russia

In the wake of government conspiracy, Russian surveillance, deemed top secret, was leaked by an unknown source to a Russian reporter named Luka Annushka.

Upon releasing the video, Annushka was visited by several members of Russian intelligence. In his account of the incident, Annushka said, “the men were dressed in all black. They made it clear. If they didn’t get the information they wanted, I would be never to be heard from again.”

Since the incident, several members of Russian intelligence have disappeared; others have died in freak accidents. The Russian government, which denies any involvement, claimed they would investigate the matter; however, a task force has yet to be assigned to any of the missing people’s cases.

As for the footage, the video, captured by low ranking officers, chronologizes the aftermath of a classified experiment known as “A20 Havoc,” which has since been shut down. The Russian officers filming the video have never been heard from again.

Brain Parasites – An Actual Zombie Threat

At this very moment, there are dozens of bugs that infectiously spread, taking over the brains of hosts, causing them to do unspeakable acts. One such example is taxoplasmosa gondii, which infects rats by taking over their mind and forcing them out into the open, where they will eaten by a cat… unfortunately.

Another example of a mind controlling parasite is Cordyceps, a type of fungus. This devilish contagion spreads by taking over the minds of ants, who are enslaved and forced into servitude. Once the ant is infected, there is no coming back, and the contagion is more than likely to infect the entire colony, as you can see in the video below. There are more a thousand different types of Cordyceps, all of which infect a different type of insect.

Worried yet? If you’re not, you should be. As it turns out, there are thousands of viruses just like this, waiting to take over a humans mind. Don’t believe us? Here is another example: the body invaders. These little beast take over caterpillars, making them stand guard, as he slowly starves to death. You can check them out in action below:

This should give you something to think about late at night: zombie snails. This parasite takes over the brains of snails, trying to get them eaten by birds. It’s another amazing parasite that can turn its host into a subservient zombie. And you thought zombies weren’t real?

Zombie Snails

At this point, there isn’t actual threat; however, there could be one out there somewhere. So I wouldn’t worry… just yet anyways.
